The Gift Aid scheme allows the BSBI, as a registered charity, to reclaim tax on membership donations and subscriptions, currently worth £2.82 to the society for every £10 you give. The only qualification is that contributors are paying UK Income or Capital Gains Tax at least equal to the amount being reclaimed by the BSBI.
