Identification Resources

Identification Resources

One of the main purposes of the BSBI is to help people identify plants. We have many publications and educational resources of use to the aspiring botanist. On this page we make available some specific resources to help you identify plants.

Members of the BSBI can make use of our Referees, who will name difficult plants for you. Details are in the Yearbook, which is sent out to members each year in January. If you’re not a member, and you are interested in plant identification, you should think about joining.

On this page we can put documents and links to other web pages. Do let me know if you have any suggestions, but not picture guides, please.
