PhD studentship working on emerging invasive non-native plants (INNS)
Interested in working on emerging alien species and their management? Do you have experience of the British or Irish flora? Then consider applying for a PhD studentship on a new project which aims to analyse how emerging invaders could be identified from species distribution databases as well as citizen science records. The project will analyse stakeholder awareness and decision processes in the management response to emerging invaders. It will focus on non-native plants in Great Britain and Ireland working with the BSBI Distribution Database (DDb) and the citizen science project Plant Alert in which BSBI is a partner.
